April 2019 - Single Tree Sheng (Raw) Pu'er from Mangfei Village, Yunnan
Mangfei is a famous tea village nested 1500 meters above sea level in the mountains of Yongde county, Yunnan. The natural environment here is very well preserved. The forests are dense and diverse, the soil is rich and fertile, and the mild climate is suitable for the growth of tea trees.
This particular batch was hand-picked from one of the oldest trees in the area, expertly withered, pan-fried, hand-rolled, and sun-dried.
The resulting tea is thick and has a refined mouth feel. The flavor is pure and unobscured, aggressively coating the mouth while eliciting salivation. The floral and sweet aftertaste is graceful, persistent, and satisfying.Brew: 5 grams・100 ml・212° F・15 sec
